Spam BusterSpam is an annoying reality in today's internet. It clogs up our email and there seems to be very little which can be done about it. If you reply and ask them not to send any more, a few (reputable) companies may remove you from their lists. The rest (who are the vast majority) will only take it as a validation of your email address, so that you will end up receiving even more junk. I have been extremely careful with my email address - not using it in chat rooms, or posting it where it might be picked up. I have also been inventive in using different aliases so that I can trace where my address might have leaked from (eg. if I am in contact with company XYZ Ltd, I will use the address xyz@lapinskass.com - without the the third 's', of course). What I am finding is that I am now getting a big heap of spam to addresses related to my web sites. The spammers seem to be trawling the web picking up the email addresses listed on web pages as live links (using the mailto instruction). There's not much I can do about that, as people need to be able to contact me. But I can get a little revenge, by posting all the spammers email addresses here, so that they will get picked up by the search spiders and get added to each other's lists. I'm sure that they will appreciate lots of invitations to win big $$$$$'s! So here's a selection to be going on with, and I will be adding to the list from time to time as the load on my inbox grows. If you have a web site, perhaps you could reserve a corner of it for the same purpose?
